23 Foreigners Needed Verification in Panama as Immigration Conducted Investigations into Entry, Residency, Activities, and Authorizations
Through the “Total Surveillance” operation carried out in the Terraplén and its surroundings, verification was conducted on 90 individuals (67 nationals and 23 foreigners), in 26 establishments, resulting in 6 citations and 5 individuals referred to the corresponding authorities. The operation aimed to strengthen migratory, commercial, and labor control, ensuring compliance with current regulations and security in key metropolitan areas. The main migratory infractions detected included overstayed residence, engaging in lucrative activities without authorization, and irregular entry into the country. Traveler history checks were also performed, demonstrating the exhaustive control efforts. In this action, personnel from the following:

- Stay expired.
- Unauthorized profit-making activities.
- Irregular entry into the country.
In addition, authorities conducted traveler history checks as part of control and security measures.
