Panama’s maritime and logistics industry employs more than 150,000 people and has a direct impact on the economy, accounting for 30% of the country’s gross domestic product. Against this backdrop, the country is hosting the Maritime Convention of the Americas this week, a meeting that brings together key players in the regional maritime and logistics industry.
