SUPPORTERS  of the CanadaPLUS Foundation celebration of Canadian Thanksgiving got a triple helping of entertainment to go along with their turkey and trimmings and well stocked wine bar on Saturday, October 8 while helping to raise funds for the Foundation’s annual charity concert.

The event took place at the Wyndham Hotel in Albrook and launched off with some high kicking routines backed with theme songs from the upcoming Panama the Musical written by Canadian expats  Yolanda and Rob Brown, and set to premiere in Panama on February 1.

Yolanda, accompanied on the piano by Canadian musical  entrepreneur, David Warrack,  sang the pieces that had previously received hot reviews in an earlier  London presentation and followed up with a stunning rendering of O Canada. The French version was sung by Canadian artist and musician Germain  Courchesne.

When the guests had loaded their plates. They got another entertainment bonus in the form of two belly dancers from Venezuela, before taking to the dance floor to perform their own gyrations.
