Alleged killer of 10-year-old in preventive detention
A man who was arrested on Friday for his alleged involvement in the murder of the girl Lina Fabiola Rojas Grajales, was placed under preventive detention at a closed doors hearing on Sunday for the crimes of femicide and sexual offense.

The 54-year-old is a director of a sand cooperative in Alanje, and one day after the femicide of Lina Grajales, he went on television asking for justice and that they take care of children.
Some 14 scientific tests and more than three months of investigation were necessary to find the person allegedly responsible for the murder of Lina Fabiola Rojas Grajales, 10 years old, on February 11, after being brutally beaten for two days. before.
Sources linked to the investigations revealed that Lina was apparently the victim of attempted sexual abuse and allegedly, DNA analysis confirmed that the suspect was her 54-year-old neighbor.
Lina was found unconscious in an abandoned house, in front of her parents’ residence, on February 9.
Two days later, she died at the José Domingo de Obaldía Maternal and Child Hospital, in David, becoming the first femicide of 2023 in Chiriqui.
