For the Panama-David Train the Spanish Company ‘Renfe’ will Evaluate the Design of the Future Bridge Over the Canal
Below is the conceptual design of the future bridge over the Panama Canal, which will be exclusively for the Panama-David-Chiriquí train. Renfe was hired directly by the National Railway Secretariat for an amount of $338,812.
The Spanish company Renfe will be in charge of reviewing the feasibility of the design of the future railway bridge over the Panama Canal for the Panama-David-Border train project.

The company justified the contract by stating that Renfe Proyectos Internacionales, SME, SA, a subsidiary of Renfe, has extensive experience in the railway sector. The company prevailed over Gleeds del Perú SAC, which had also expressed interest in the contract.
