Panama Viejo will have an open house this Sunday, September 20, for nationals and residents, with guided tours from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The Panama Viejo Archaeological Site will hold an open house this Sunday, September 20, for nationals and residents, as part of the activities for the celebration of Ocean Month.  The initiative will allow visitors to tour this historic site in Panama City and participate in guided themed tours throughout the day.  The Patronato Panamá Viejo announced that the guided themed tours will take place from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The meeting point for participants will be the Visitor Center of the archaeological site.  The activity will focus on the commemoration of Ocean Month and will allow nationals and residents to learn more about heritage and its relationship with the environment.

How Much Does Internal Transport Cost?

Although the event will be open to nationals and residents, those wishing to use internal transport will have to pay $1.00.  Visitors interested in participating in the tours should note that these will only take place between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.  The activity represents a cultural alternative for those looking for plans to do in Panama City this Sunday, September 20.
