A New Miss Universe Candidate from Panama for September
Mirna Caballini pictured below, the current Miss Universe Panama, will hand over the crown to the next Panamanian representative on the international stage.
The Miss Panama Organization officially announced the celebration of Miss Universe Panama 2026, the pageant that will choose the new national beauty queen who will represent the country in the 75th edition of Miss Universe.
A total of 28 candidates, representing the main tourist regions of Panama, will compete to win the most important crown in the country in a production that promises to combine elegance, fashion, culture, entertainment and the projection of Panamanian riches before an international audience.
The road to the crown will begin with the Miss Universe Panama Runway, an evening of candidate presentations, fashion, and promotion of the country’s creative industries, which will take place on Sunday, August 9 at Aurora at Soho.
Next will come the Viva Panamá Gala, a preliminary competition that will take place at the Roberto Durán Arena on Friday, September 4. The big night will be on Saturday, September 5 , when the Roberto Durán Arena will once again host the Miss Universe Panama 2026 final, becoming for the third time the venue for the top national beauty event.
That night, the woman who will carry the Panamanian flag to the international competition, which will be held this year in Puerto Rico and whose final will be on Sunday, November 24, will be revealed. Beyond beauty, the organization highlighted that Miss Universe Panama is a platform to promote the country’s art, folklore, tourism, and creative industries, showcasing Panamanian identity to millions of viewers around the world.
