Bribes for the Maintenance of the Former Presidential Plane: One of the Charges the American Captured in Barú is Accused of
Jald Jensen pictured below was captured in Puerto Armuelles, Barú, and his extradition was approved by the Superior Court of Appeals of Chiriquí.
The American captured last week in Puerto Armuelles, Barú, was one of the main executives of the company that carried out the maintenance work of the Gulfstream II HP-1A, the aircraft used by the Presidency of the Republic until 2009. Three people have already pleaded guilty in this case; Jensen was the only defendant whose whereabouts remained unknown, until Interpol located him and coordinated his capture, along with agents of the National Border Service (Senafront), in Puerto Armuelles, where he had apparently resided for years and even ran a business.
