4,5 earthquake felt across Panama City
An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 was felt in various sectors of the capital city at 12:26 am, on Monday, August 17, reports the Institute of Geosciences of the University of Panama Carlos Rumbo, director of the Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) published on his Twitter account that the epicenter was north of Chepo.
After the tremor, which was initially registerd as 3.8 but later upgraded Sinaproc personnel made a tour of the area and, on a preliminary basis, did not have any report of damages.
