989 coronavirus cases, 24 deaths

The death toll from coronavirus in Panama climbed to 24 and the number of infected people surged to  989 said The Ministry of Health on  Sunday, March 29. , Seven people have in the previous  24 hours, and there were 88 new cases.

Of the total of cases 820 are under home surveillance, 141 are hospitalized, and with  105 in wards and 36 in critical care units.

Recovered
The Vice Minister of Health, Luis Sucre said that three of the four patients who recovered from the disease three are already in their residences and one in the ward.

“We want to take care of those who serve us and protect us, we must take care of the pharmacies that tomorrow are going to provide us with medicines and the little Chinese  store that is going to provide us with food tomorrow,” said Sucre referring  to the looting of   a mini-super on Saturday

“Tomorrow we will need each one of the establishments that help us to have our food at home. But, where are we going to buy, where are we going to change the Solidarity Bonus?”  he asked
