Panama Forestry Engineering Student Rescued after Getting Lost in Gamboa.

Environmental Police units reported that they rescued a 34-year-old forestry student who had been reported missing in the La Playita sector, in Gamboa, Colón province.  According to the agency, the man was part of a group of forestry engineering students conducting research in the area. When his companions noticed he was missing, they requested assistance from the National Police.  After conducting search operations, the units managed to establish contact with the forestry student and subsequently proceeded with his extraction from the area. The National Police reiterated its commitment to protecting life and providing timely assistance to citizens, especially in hard-to-reach areas.
