No Injuries Reported After a Panama Airplane Makes a Crash Emergency Landing at Playa Muerto.
A Cessna 206 aircraft, registration HP-1969, made an emergency landing this Thursday in the Playa Muerto area, Darién, after the pilot reported a loss of revolutions in the engine, the Civil Aeronautics Authority (AAC) reported. The aircraft was operating a commercial flight from Marcos A. Gelabert Airport to Jaqué, carrying four people. There were no injuries and all occupants are unharmed. The AAC activated emergency protocols and deployed Search and Rescue (SAR) personnel to the location. The Accident Investigation Unit initiated technical inquiries to determine the causes of the incident.
