Construction of the Panama and San Miguelito Cable Car for $270 Million is Back in the Bidding Process
The preliminary meeting and approval process is scheduled for July 28, 2026, while the submission of proposals is scheduled for August 8, 2026.
After the process was declared void last May, the Panama Metro reopened the bidding process for the construction of the now called “Panama and San Miguelito Cable Car”, with a reference price of $270 million.
The pre-bid meeting and approval process is scheduled for July 28, 2026, while the submission of proposals is due by August 8, 2026. The bidding process will be based on best value and the award method will be global.
