Unseasonal rain: blame the U.S.
Unseasonal rains in Panama as the tourism season moves into high gear will last through the early days of January and you can blame it on the US.
The rains that look more like a November day in London, are due to a cold front that has come from the United States says the civil defense agency Sinaproc.
Director Arturo says the rains are unusual, as the dry season has usually started by now.
The rains have not caused any flooding, but residents living in flood-prone areas should be careful, he warned.
The dry season should start when the cold front moves out of the area.
