Metro Bus system traumatic and chaotic

ADVOCATES for users of Panama’s Metro Bus system are less than impressed by President Ricardo Martinelli’s call for more patience.

They claim that the system remains traumatic and chaotic,
David Ramirez, spokesman for the October 23 Movement which monitors the public transport system said that the Metro Bus service is traumatic because in the two months since the Diablos Rojos were pulled from the roads, neither Mi Bus or Sonda (which operates the prepaid card system) has solved the problems of the system. He said that this situation obviously affects the quality of life of Panamanians, and calls for a coherent action plan says La Prensa

He accepted  in  principle the fines that have been levied against Mi Bus and Sonda for breach of their contracts in principle  but are too “soft.”
He called for the authorities to be a little more aggressive, "so that these companies feel they are dealing with a serious country."
Mena Hope  deemed the fines as a wrist slap and said the two companies should receive punitive damages because customers have physical wear for the time they must spend at stops and because they have to get up extra early. "We have a lot of stress."
