President takes aim at San Miguelito garbage collectors

PRESIDENT Ricardo Martinelli on Thursday, December 12, turned his sights from his political opponents and the media and trained them once again on other garbage problems.

He asked San Miguelito officials to review the contract with the company Revisalud, which is responsible for the collection of waste in that sector.

"That company is not fulfilling its duties," he said during a ceremony in San Miguelito.
He called on Mayor Héctor Valdés Carrasquilla to examine the contract and terminate it if the company is found to be in violation.
"It cannot be that garbage is not being collected," the president he said
Martinelli said that he had not examined the contract but said there must be clauses that Revisalud is failing to meet.
