Nearly 118,000 vehicles exit city on carnival weekend
A total of 117, 864 vehicles headed from Panama City into the interior on the first three days of of the annual Carnival celebration.
43, 554 vehicles have returned to the capital city so, it is expected that 73, 698 cars are set to return starting Tuesday, March 4, says Aldo Macre National Director of Traffic Operations of the National Police.
"We have organized with units of the National Police and the Transit Authority for an operating morning from 9: 00 am," he said.
There were 430 accidents, 300 have in the capital and 130 in the provinces.
