Holiday brings bumper crop for traffic cops
OVER 88,000 vehicles left Panama City for the interior during the National holidays providing traffic police with a bumper crop as they handed out 4,359 tickets before noon on Tuesday, November 4 with the promise of more to come as the holidaymakers streamed back to the city, fighting massive traffic jams.
Five hundred and eight vehicles have been towed for various offenses and police breathalysers had a busy time with 202 drivers were booked for driving while over the limit.
