More Than $31,000 is Seized

More than 31 thousand dollars in cash was seized, and a woman arrested, in a residence in the Los Cántaros neighborhood of Panama City.  According to the National Police, the amount seized was $31,892.50 and its origin could not be justified. The woman was arrested for her alleged connection with the crime of money laundering.  In this raid and search of a residence, carried out between the Public Ministry and the National Police, three cell phones were also confiscated.  The apprehended woman, along with the evidence, will be placed under the orders of the corresponding authorities. Investigations into this case continue.
