Donald Trump Found Guilty – Strong Emotions on Both Sides
Former U.S. President Donald Trump was found guilty of 34 New York State felony charges by a 12-member jury of his peers. Sentencing is scheduled for July 11. Democrats and Trump haters are very happy to hear the news and are celebrating. Then there is the other half of the Un United States who are expressing their feelings on this New York State verdict.
Trump’s supporters, Republican leaders and tens of millions of ordinary Americans alike, instead of shunning him, have rallied around him, according to Bloomberg. Robert F Kennedy says that he is not a fan of Donald Trump, but stated that indictments help Trump in the polls. “Wall Street Billionaires Are Rushing to Back Trump, Verdict Be Damned” according to Bloomberg.
Long time Democrats say that “because of the weaponization of the political justice system, many of us are moving to Trump”. Many undecided American voters are saying that they aren’t Trump fans, but they are being pushed into the Trump corner seeing these injustices. Other comments were “There was no crime pointed to, no evidence of a crime, no jurisdiction, no due process, a conflicted hand-picked Judge who was a Biden donor, a Manhattan deep-blue jury in an anti-Trump district, a Soros prosecutor, a misdemeanor up charged well past the statute of limitations, and can anyone tell us what the charges are?”
Trump said outside the court Thursday “This was a rigged, disgraceful trial. The real verdict is going to be Nov. 5 by the people.”
