Two Women are Arrested in a Panama Drug Raid.

The National Border Service (Senafront) reported on the arrest of two women during a raid in the Guabito sector, in Bocas del Toro, as part of Operation “Phalange”.

The entity explained that the operation was carried out by Anti-Narcotics units of the General Manuel Quintero Villarreal Battalion, in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Office for Drug-Related Crimes of Chiriquí and Bocas del Toro, within the framework of the Firmness Plan. 

During the operation, 21 transparent bags containing white powder, presumably an illicit substance, and two cell phones were seized.  Senafront indicated that the case was placed under the orders of the competent authorities for the corresponding legal procedures.
