Sinaproc is Overseeing the Situation as the Caimito River Rises in La Chorrera Causing Flooding.

Personnel from the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc), Panama West Base, verified a report of overflow of the Caimito River, in the El Trapichito sector, in La Chorrera. During the inspection, the teams noted an increase in the river level, but no homes were reported affected at this point. Sinaproc maintains a prevention alert for rain and storms in much of the country, and therefore recommends that the population maintain precautionary measures.
