Panama’s Traditional Music Singer Nataly Barrios Fulfills her University Dream
Singer Nataly Barrios, from Víctor Bernal’s band, celebrates her degree in Finance and proves that talent and discipline can go hand in hand.
“Where there’s a will, there’s a way,” a very popular phrase that fits like a glove for the traditional music singer Nataly Barrios, who proudly shared with her fans the culmination of a very important stage in her life: becoming a professional beyond singing. Nataly, the current female vocalist of the group ‘Inspiración Santeña’, directed by accordionist Víctor Bernal, completed her academic training as a graduate in Finance and Banking at the Regional University Center of Panama West of the University of Panama, after successfully defending her thesis work.
Through her social media, the artist, originally from Pedasí in the province of Los Santos, expressed her excitement about this achievement with a message full of gratitude: “4 years of study completed, thank you God for this goal achieved. Officially a graduate in Finance and Banking.” Her melodious voice, widely recognized by lovers of typical Panamanian music, has also been part of important groups such as the ‘Golden Duo’ of Jorge ‘Balbinín’ Gómez and ‘El Plumas Negras’, directed by Manuel ‘Nenito’ Vargas. With this new achievement, Nataly Barrios demonstrates that effort and perseverance allow one to forge a path both on stage and in the professional sphere, becoming an example of overcoming adversity for her followers.
