Lane reversals for 80.000 heading to the interior

On  Friday, December 24, the National Directorate of Traffic Operations (DNOT) of the National Police activated the lane reversal operation into the interior of the country for Christmas. Some 80,000 vehicles are expected in the interior, but many left on Thursday.

The operation began at 12 noon . It will be enabled until 7:00 pm on Avenida de Los Mártires, province of Panama to Arraiján Cabecera, in the province of Panamá Oeste. They also notified that they will reverse a lane from La Espiga, in La Chorrera to Capira, Panama Oeste province from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

They urge the population at these parties not to drive under the influence of alcoholic beverages and to do so designate a driver, wear a seat belt, not exceed speed limits, not be distracted by electronic devices and respect traffic signs. In addition, they invite pedestrians to use the overpasses.
