Aeronaval Service member  caught with  five drug [packs

After a record-breaking year in which security forces seized thousands of kilos of drugs and arrested dozens of narco-traffickers, members member of the National Aeronaval Service (Senan), one of their own on Saturday, December  28 when they found five packages of drugs in a car driven by a uniformed member.

The Anti-Drug Directorate (DNA), was responsible for conducting the search and found the drugs in the plastic-lined dashThe uniformed man was accompanied by his wife at the time of the incident, so both are under the orders of the Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Drug-Related Crimes inChiriquí and Bocas del Toro.

In a statement, the Senan indicated that it will provide the corresponding collaboration, with both to the Public Ministry and the National Police, in required investigations.
