Helicopters fight forest reserve fire

Panama’s National Aeronaval Service (Senan)  working with Ministry of Environment and the Fire Department used helicopters carrying giant buckets to lift water from local rivers to control a fire in the La Yeguada forest park reserve, in the  Calobre district, of Veraguas province on Wednesday, March 6.  Some 30 hectares in an area of 2,000 hectares were affected by the fire.
