Super red moon will usher in WYD week
The week of World Youth Day (WYD) in Panama will begin with a total lunar eclipse which will create a “super red moon” says the Technological University of Panama (UTP).
Rodney Delgado, astronomer, physicist and director of the Observatory Delgado announced in a UTP information video.
According to the scientist, the phenomenon, when the moon will turn red (known as a red or blood moon), will happen from 11:41 p.m. on Sunday, January 20, the day that thousands of pilgrims and media reps arrive, and will end on Monday, at dawn. It will be seen across America and parts of Africa.
