GASOLINE and diesel prices in Panama will rise between 3 and 5 cents from Friday March 18 says the National Secretariat of Energy, which updates fuel prices every 15 days.
95 octane gasoline will rise 4.8 cents to.64.5cents a liter, and 91 octane will increase 4.3 cents to 60.8 cents a liter.
Low sulfur diesel, will increase from the 47.6 cents a liter to 5.1 cents
. The new prices will come into effect on Friday at 6 am.
“The oil market in Panama, whose management is in the hands of private enterprise, is governed by prices in the US, from where most of Panama’s fuel is shipped,” said the secretariat.
