They also seized 77 packages of containerized drugs at a port in Panama City as pictured below. Twelve search warrants were carried out, two vehicles were recovered, four firearms and three rounds of ammunition were seized, and 76 cans of suspected cocaine were confiscated, among other evidence linked to drug-related crimes. In traffic matters, 1,149 tickets were issued for various violations, including 162 for speeding, 78 for inadequate lights, seven for talking on a cell phone, 28 for expired licenses, 16 for proven drunkenness, and five for alcohol-impaired breath. Some 77 packages containing illicit substances were seized during an anti-drug operation deployed at a Pacific port, traceable to Panama with a final destination in Suriname.
