High speed Corridor chase nets 5 bank robbers
FIVE GANG MEMBERS were arrested Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 18, after a high speed chase by the National Police on the North Corridor.
The chase came following a 104 call reporting a robbery at the Banistmo bank in Tumba Muerto.
“No one was injured,” said police chief , Omar Pinzon, who was at the scene of the arrest of those involved in the theft.
The robbers were traveling in a white van at full speed.
After the chase they tried to escape through the sides of the Chinese Cultural Center, but were caught by armed police.
