McDonalds murder suspects captured

TWO SUSPECTS  in the murder of a 28 year old McDonald’s employee were  arrested  by  Panama’s National Police on Monday, November 9.

Astrid López, a single mother, who worked in the Pedregal McDonald’s store was gunned down when two males entered the franchise shortly before closing. They left with $300 from the cash register and two cell phones taken from customers.

One of the suspects is a minor. The other was identified as Jampol Roderick Magdaleno Serracín, 18.

They were detained in an operation at a residence in the La Siesta, sector of Tocumen.

A $10,000 reward had been offered for information about the case, but it was not clear if tips led to the location of the suspects reports La Prensa.
