At least 6 dead 20 injured in bus accident
PANAMA’S traffic death toll in the first month of the year took a tragic leap on Sunday mrning January 25, when at least six people including the driver were killed and 20 injured on after an accident in Chiriqui.
A few hours later two children died and 19 passengers were injured in a second bus crash.

A public service bus traveling on the David-Waterford highway, left the road and plunged into a creek and overturned in Concepcion, Bugaba.
The Fire Department and civil service teams(Sinaproc) arrived at the scene to rescue passengers strugggling to get out through the windows of the almost submerged vehicle.Five of the dead were women.
The Traffic Operations Division, the Transit Authority ATTT and Public Ministry began an investigation to determine the causes of this accident.
President, Juan Carlos Varela, visited the Rafael Hernández regional hospital in David, on Sunday aftrenoonto check on the condition of the injured passengers.
A few hours after the Chiriqui accident, another bus crash near Arriahan claimed the lives of two children. and injured 19.
