Incoming Attorney General promises institutional changes

ATTORNEY GENERAL Ana Belfon and her designated successor, Kenya Porcell met Thurday afternoon for the first transition meeting.

The closed doors meeting, lasted two hours and focused on general issues such as budget, 2015 pending projects and respect for the accusatory penal system.
After the discussion Porcell said that in the processes of corruption she said:  “Ask on January 2 when I am here and have complete information, in addition to knowing the statistics. Remember that these figures are given at the end of each month and until then you do not have that information ” reports La Prensa.
She said “Of course there will have to be institutional changes, and that we will do from January 2, 2015”
