Navarro disrespects office of the president CD secretary

THE GLOVES came off on Wednesday night. March 19 over the call by PRD presidential candidate Juan Carlos Navarro for the appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate alleged links  of President Ricardo Martinelli to an Italian bribery scandal.

The secretary general of the ruling Democratic Change party (CD), Romulo Roux said that Navarro, had disrespected Panamanian President Ricardo Martinelli.

Roux said Navarro broke all bounds of decency and respect for institutions . “This irresponsible politician who aspires to the highest office of the nation had no qualms about attacking the institution of the Presidency of the Republic. that aims to occupy "
He said Navarro had deliberately distorted, a process that is at a preliminary stage, which also violated the presumption of innocence [ Valter Lavítola ] and criminally attacked the President and wounded the dignity of his position .
The statement read by Roux, with flat CD directive from headquarters in Plaza Carolina, came a day after Navarro and THEPRD demanded the Attorney General's Office appoint a special prosecutor to reopen the investigation into the alleged corruption case involving President Martinelli Republic and Italy's Finmeccanica.
The preliminary hearing judge Maria Bonaventura called for this trial June 23 at Paolo Pozzessere, former director of Finmeccanica business, and Valter Lavítola intermediary, for an act of corruption that occurred in Panama.
