PRD founder member swims against the tide

As the opposition PRD (Partido Revolucionario Democrático) celebrates its return to the top of the political membership table, a founder member has decided to swim against the tide.

 Former Colón Legislator Miguel Bush has resigned from the (PRD) and enrolled in the Cambio Democrático (CD), the party founded and led by President Ricardo Martinelli

"I'm going to the party that cares," said Bush on Tuesday December 11 as he arrived at the headquarters of the Tribunal Electoral (TE).
Bush said that he supported Juan Carlos Navarro for control of the PRD, but decided to leave the party because he "did not give me any appreciation."
Bush, one of the founders of the PRD, said he has been in talks with CD leaders about joining the party for a long period of time.
Navarro. Secretary general of the PRD and a presidential hopeful is a pre-election front runner, based upon membership.
On Sunday November 11, the PRD got a 50,000 membership surge making it the biggest party in the country.
