48 hour teachers strike call set for Monday

A nationwide teachers’ strike is set to be called on Monday but the Ministry of Education (Meduca) on Sunday called on parents to continue sending their children to school.

 Meduca  says  that despite the strike call: "This institution as the guarantor of education, will take appropriate measures to ensure compliance with the law."

 The Ministry, headed by Lucy Molinar said it was  commited: "to continue working to meet needs, meet historical debt and put us in tune with the times"
