Human rights, torture and money laundering laws review
The Human Rights and Citizen Security Commissions of the Latin American Parliament (Parlatino) will be meeting in Panama next week to deal with multiple issues.
On the agenda will be a review the draft framework of a law against money laundering.the elimination of all forms of discrimination human dignity, the prevention of torture,and cruel and inhuman treatment.
Also up for discuission will be the strengthening of social inclusion for people with disabilities says the Commission onHuman Rights, thatis headquartered in Panama.
Also being addressed is the promotion of the right to protect the health of all people, immigrant rights and the coordination of a visit to a model prison in Venezuela. The meetings will be held on July 21-22 preceded on July 20 by thesubcommittee on prison policies receiving complaints of violations of human rights in the countries of the region.
