Darien Flood devastation and evacuation continues
Evacuation of flood stricken residents of towns and villages in Darien province is continuing, with more refugee centers being set up in schools.
Ronald Czech, director of the National Civil Protection System(Sinaproc) in the province reported the transportation of large numbers of victims.
The National Air Service (Senan) reported today(December 15) That at least 300 people were evacuated from Yaviza affected by the overflowing of rivers and Chucunaque Chico.
In addition, 56 teachers in the community of La Palma are being moved to the port of Quimba.
