Ethanol coming to Panama
The introduction of ethanol to gas in Panama is one again on the cards, with the Government talking to Brazil, one of the world’s largest producers.
The idea was first mooted last year in the National Energy Plan, when it was proposed to use the biofuel beginning in 2012, to reduce oil dependency.
Panama’s ethanol use would be only 10 percent
A new law could be approved by the National Assembly by July.
