Tocumen International Airport anticipates some  30,6 91 passengers during the upcoming national holidays week, a 41% increase compared to the regular average since the reopening of the air terminal, on October 12.

The airport authorities report that preliminary reports of the airlines reflect a greater departure of passengers as of October 30, in addition to November 1 and 2. Meanwhile, for the return to Panama, the largest number of returning passengers is expected to between November 7 and 9. 

According to estimates, 15, 784 travelers will leave through the air terminal and a total of 14, 907 visitors will enter Panama, which represents an additional 12 325 passengers, compared to the regular flow of entry and exit of the first eight days of the restart of business operations.

The United States, Colombia, Mexico City, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, and, in Panama, the province of Chiriquí, are among the main destinations.

The airlines have recommended that travelers arrive three hours in advance, to carry out the check-in procedures, as well as the security controls and bio sanitary protocols due to Covid-19.
