Health Ministry tours coronavirus hotel facilities
The Minister of Health, Rosario Turner, along with her team and other ministers of State, on Monday. March 30 visited the hotels where isolated patients with Covid-19 are under surveillance..
They were there to ensure that that the patients in the facilities have medicines, the required care, food, cleaning supplies, and exclusive security equipment.
Authorities placed patients in hotels to give them personalized treatment, to reduce the risk of them and ending up in an intensive care unit.
Turner said that patients housed in hotels remain stable, and the hotels must follow 10 rules of strict compliance, contained in the protocol of care for the use of hotels to house patients who
know that isolation is mandatory and individual, so the patient must stay in the room without visiting the common areas of the hotel, which means not interacting with others.
In addition, visits are not allowed, patients must wear a mask, must receive without objection the daily visit of the Rapid Response Team (ERR) and must remain in isolation until a doctor determines that is until the person does not represent a risk of spread of the disease.
