COVID-19  cases  climb  1,192   in a week

The  number of cases of COVID-19 in Panama climbed from May 2 by 1,192  to 8,282 as hundreds are arrested daily for  flouting quarantine rules reported the  Ministry of Health (Minsa) on Saturday.

Of this total, 3,218 are in isolation, 4,501 recovered and 326 hospitalized (241 in wards and 85 in intensive care).  The number of deaths reached   237 .
