15  Amador maskless party celebrants  detained

At least 15 people. mostly without masks who attended an unauthorized party  on a  moored barge at an  Amador Causeway pier  on  Thursday, October 1  were arrested in an operation conducted by the Ministry of Health (Minsa)

Israel Cedeño, director of the metropolitan health region, Cedeño said that they proceeded to summon these people “for their due punishment in the corresponding health center.” The manager of the boat was also summoned to the direction of the metropolitan health region to be punished.

The sanction that health centers can impose ranges from $1 to $500; and in the health region, it goes from $501 to $ 10,000. If it is a more serious situation, the case goes to the General Directorate of Public Health for a sanction ranging from$ 10,001 onwards.

The Minsa reported, on October  1, 747 new cases of Covid-19, for a cumulative total of 113,342, as well as 15 new deaths, for a total of 2,387 cumulative deaths.
