Covid-19  new cases surge past 1000 for second day

June 24, 2021

Panama passed the 1000 mark of new cases  of covid-19 for the second day on Wednesday and 7  deaths bringing a total of 6,491 accumulated deaths since the pandemic began

Active cases total 11,081. There are 609 hospitalized and 526 of them are in the ward and 83 are in ICU.
