The National Energy Secretariat announced the new maximum retail prices that will be in effect at service stations throughout the Republic of Panama for the coming period. The new prices will take effect at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, and will remain in effect until 5:59 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026.
How Much will Gasoline Cost from August 21st?
According to the new prices announced by the National Energy Secretariat, the fuel prices will be as follows:
- 95 octane gasoline will have a reduction of 4 cents per liter and will be at $1.23.
- Meanwhile, 91-octane gasoline will decrease by 3 cents and will have a maximum price of $1.16 per liter.
- Meanwhile, low-sulfur diesel will increase by 1 cent and will be at $1.35 per liter.
When will the New Prices Take Effect?
The new maximum retail prices will begin to be applied from 6:00 am on Friday, August 21, 2026. The measure will remain in effect until 5:59 am on Friday, September 4, 2026. This means that the advertised prices correspond to the period between August 21 and September 4.
