Assault on a Driver in Chiriquí Province Panama Led to the Arrest of 5 Assailants Including a Minor.

Five people, including a minor, were apprehended for their alleged involvement in an assault on an ‘inDrive’ driver in Chiriquí province.  The arrest was carried out by units from the Panama National Police’s “Linces” motorcycle squad following a pursuit that began in Querévalo and ended in front of the José Domingo de Obaldía Regional Hospital.  “The incident occurred when the individuals boarded the vehicle in the Los Abanicos area of ​​David and asked to be taken to Bugaba. However, near Querévalo, they assaulted and subdued the driver, taking the vehicle and fleeing the scene,” the police reported.
