Six Homes in Río de Veraguas will be Built by the Panama Government Due to Weather Destruction
The Ministry of Government reported that the National Government has begun the transfer of materials to build six new homes for families in Río de Veraguas, affected by the bad weather. The Vice Minister of the Presidency, Viena Luque, oversaw the loading of the materials from the Colón dock this Friday. The community lacks road access, so the transport will be carried out with the support of the National Aeronaval Service (Senan).

The Deputy Minister of Housing, Fernando Méndez, reported that six complete kits will be transported, including panels, cement, blocks, steel, zinc sheets, and biodigesters. In total, approximately 70 tons of materials will be mobilized, which will arrive in the coming days to begin the construction of the homes.
