Panama President Mulino Travels to Colombia this Friday for the Inauguration of President Abelardo de la Espriella

President José Raúl Mulino pictured below will travel this Friday, August 7, to Cali, Colombia, to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the new right wing Colombian president, Abelardo de la Espriella. 

According to the National Government, Mulino will be received at the Alfonso Bonilla Aragón Airport and, prior to the official ceremony, will hold bilateral meetings with the Colombian president and with the Minister of State for International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, Reem Al Hashimy. 

The meetings will cover topics related to cooperation, electrical interconnection, security, the fight against organized crime, trade, diplomatic relations, and tourism investments.  The Panamanian president will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Javier Martínez-Acha, Minister of Commerce and Industries Julio Moltó, Minister of Security Frank Ábrego, and Panama’s ambassador to Colombia, Mario Boyd Galindo. 

The ceremony will be attended by other heads of state from the region and international representatives.  After the event concludes, Mulino and his entourage will return to Panama on Friday.
