Panama’s Erika Bedoya Wins the Miss Arraiján 2026 Crown

Erika Bedoya, the representative from Vacamonte, was chosen as the new queen of the district during the Miss Arraiján 2026 pageant, a gala that brought together families and followers of the seven candidates at the Luciardo and Severina Rodríguez Amphitheater. During the evening, the representatives from Arraiján Cabecera, Burunga, Cerro Silvestre, Juan Demóstenes Arosemena, Santa Clara, Nuevo Emperador and Vacamonte stood out for their elegance, charisma and poise on the swimsuit and evening gown runways.

The judging panel selected Natalia Gadeas, from Arraiján Cabecera; Anna Santos, from Santa Clara; Ismahelys Miller, from Juan Demóstenes Arosemena; and Erika Bedoya, from Vacamonte, as finalists. After the final round of questions, Bedoya was announced as the winner and received the crown from the outgoing queen, María Syres pictured below.  The event also featured folkloric and artistic performances that highlighted the district’s traditions and cultural identity, as well as the support of the cheering sections that accompanied each candidate during the competition.

The mayor of Arraiján, Stefany Peñalba pictured below, acknowledged the participation of the seven young women and highlighted their dedication, discipline, and commitment during the pageant preparation process. Each participant received recognition for representing her respective district.  With this new election, Miss Arraiján seeks to continue as a platform to highlight the talent, leadership and participation of the district’s youth, as well as promote the cultural identity of its communities.
