Victor Vial Vice President of Finance for the Panama Canal Resigns After 7 Years
Victor Vial submitted his resignation as Vice President of Finance of the Panama Canal Authority (ACP), a position he held for the last seven years, since the beginning of Ricaurte Vasquez’s administration. His departure comes just after he was part of the final shortlist of candidates considered by the entity to lead the ACP during the 2026-2033 period, along with Francisco Ruiz Miranda and Ilya Espino de Marotta, who was finally appointed to the position on May 21.
